The trip fees are refundable if cancellations made prior to
8 weeks before the trip . Cancellations made closer
than 8 weeks before the trip may be penalised by the amount of costs we cannot
recover if we cannot fill the places.(hut fees prepaid, transport arranged,
bulk food purchases, etc).
On the Routeburn/Greenstone trips, however,
we cannot recover the $285 we have to pre-pay for the use of the Commercial
Lodges in the
You will need to send the required trip deposit and Club membership payment and hopefully your donation, with your trip application, and the final payment will be requested about 10 weeks before the trip.
We are a group of non commercial unpaid volunteers, and we need to safely cover costs. To be allowed to carry on with our wonderful project, DoC insist that we run our trips on a "cost recovery basis" only. We are allowed to accept donations and club membership fees.
