Borland
Lodge - 2012 season
To satisfy those who have “done them all”, and are
looking for another experience, we have been able to book the Borland Lodge.
The Lodge is located right on the edge of Fiordland National
Park and World Heritage Area., and is very well appointed and spacious, with
modern facilities.
While we are there we will be self-sufficient, prepare
our own meals and participate in tramping trips etc
of varying grades, in a similar fashion to our trips in the Catlins, Aspiring, Berwick, Sutton and Huxley Lodge trips.
The Lodge is situated 66km from Te
Anau and 55km from Tuatapere,
in Southern Fiordland, near Lake Monowai.
There are a good variety of tramping routes available, and as usual, all
activities are optional, people can decide what activities (if any) they wish
to participate in.
As on our other trips, our Leaders will endeavour to ensure that everyone has
an enjoyable time
